Thanks, Dan. I am grateful to have been born in an incredible time in which I can learn from people like you.
Why I didin't know this before.
This video is very good,Make sure you 👍 like the video
I am dropping college
This is new to me good massage man
Absolutely love this 👏👏
I wish I learned about this 5 years ago. It would stop me from the mistake that I am fixing now.
Present school education is shit. Maths in 7th standard is tougher than S. S. C.of old times. Subjects taught are not useful in higher studies or in life.
the school system that rockefeller and the industrialists have ruined humanity. Think about it. Before standardized education people were home schooled or education was tailor made just for them to suit their strengths and interests. or people learned a trade that suited them and at the same time was interesting to them and made them a living. It would be great to revert back to that type of education system.
This interviewer is b😴😴😴😴😴ring af! Thank God for Dan… The whole video would have been so boooooooring.
love you siffu dan lok
Kids sometimes lose the will to study at some point or they may stop taking school seriously
Dan even am discontinuing my college Inspired by you
School is depressing stressful and boring
i have A+ in every subject and i have always thought school was waste of time, anyway im going to get medal to then put it on my cock 🙂
School is only for people who want to be another brick in the wall. Like the pink floyd song look it up.
I learned more when I wasn't doing well in my classes 😀
If Dan made a school, I would come.
school a place to learn also a place to wash kids brain.
The more of the truth you tell people, the more they deny and believe their "truth". Why do you think flat earthers still exist.
I remember now Robert who used title for the book, If You Want to Be Rich & Happy Don't Go to School 🙂
Changing the school system, sadly, is but a dream. It's all by design that they squelch creativity and critical thinking. The value in this presentation is making people aware that to get where you need to be in life is not learned in school. It's true. Much of what's taught is outdated. Many a book written was good in its day, but now outdated, much of the reason attributed to technology. Technology has sped up knowledge so fast, it's obvious schools are not keeping up. For this reason alone, textbooks should no longer be in print but in online, changeable format.
Dan Lok for president!
Love you Boss.
What about nursing school?
Dan Lok. My mission for the world is to revolutionize the educational system. Let me interview you on the podcast 'Education Revolution now'.
My idea is to create a private visionary school, that puts all of these ideas into practice, and the kids earn their own commission fees. Then I will franchise it.
Dan Lok is a VERY smart man, he sounds like his views are similar to John Taylor Gatto, NY school teacher of the Year/author.
The whole school system should watch this video as mandatory requirement! Every word said here is true!
I've gained far more valuable knowledge from YouTube alone then I've ever gotten from the education system. With the vast wealth of information on the internet, I can learn something life-changing just about every day.
@Dan Lok Have you ever considered establishing a private university yourself?
I love this clip. But Mr Dan Lok if I may ask then what kind of school should i send my kids?
Wealth Management, Communication, Social Media are all great topics to learn that could be added to our list of 21st Century skills. I like the idea of teachers focusing less on content delivery and more on the motivational side of education.
Good video Dan, totally agree with the perspective on the current education system.
Where the fuck was this video when I was 17 at my first full-time job looking out the window wishing that I was those people jet skiing outside? :/
Did he just use a Bruce Lee quote about knowledge as his? lol nice. Watching this video breaks my heart from all of the misleading and the bad habits that I've picked up. But you gotta keep moving on.
3 am and hooked on this interview
Parents take so much time telling their kids to study but, some never take the time to study their kids.
Endure pain for a long period of time. It's called being resilient. Recovering from difficult conditions and coming back with double or triple the energy when you go at it or something else again.
Dan you nailed it right on the head. If you look you will find the truth…. its hidden behind all the b*******. I hope you have a good day today Dan.
See finally the truth comes out,,,, I've always felt that way about the school system they suck
from very young, the school gives you this idea that helping the poor will make you a better person and world a better place. The problem is that they don't teach you some people choose to stay poor no matter how hard you are helping them or how much you given to them. school gives the idea that kids should be like robin hood, who is admired for some reason. Robin hood is a criminal and rob people for their money. He gives to the poor because he wants himself to feel less guilty of crimes.
Haha xD i love what you do dan
I born in Hong Kong too, Nowadays Hong Kong is like a meat grinder for business.
But we also need to keep in mind that there are costs involved to have all these facilities available … 50 students in a class, 5 classes in a grade …
One of the many reasons we homeschool our 4 kids! By the time the graduate high school they will be prepared for starting businesses, entrepreneurship, and if they show aptitude and desire to, high level programming. They'll make more at 18 then your average college graduate. And they will be creative, open minded, and not afraid to fail!
Public schools are like a "one size fits all" recipe for life. That is why it doesn't work. That is exactly why it doesn't work. In old times, maybe 3 or 4 generation ago, people learned a trade through "apprenticeship", they learned directly from the industry, and graduated from that specific industry. Today, even if you learning a "trade" in a school, what you learn there has nothing to do with what really happening in that actual trade. It is just so backwards. In Eastern Europe when I was in school, it was part of our learning that we were brought into different companies and we had to work there a few hours one day in each of the week of during the school months. This vent on from grade 5 till grade 8. This way we were exposed to many different work places that were out there, so we had ideas about certain jobs for the time we finished grade 8, and most of us had ideas about what we want to study when going to high-schools, colleges or universities. Here in Canada, my kids finished high-school, they had no idea what to study next. We were looking several different college catalogues over, and they were still asking me what they should choose?!They were not impressed with any of the available offers, they might found 2 or 3 interesting subjects within a course program, but the rest there they viewed as an "unnecessary mental torture / waste of money & waste of time", that they probably never ever would have use of in their lives. Yet, they cannot graduate of the program, unless they are willing to take also those unnecessary subjects. I did not want them to go to college and pick something just for me. I wanted them to like what they going to do. But they were unsure, they were frightened "I don't know what people really do in that job", "what if I won't like it?", "how do I know if I will like it, if it is for me if I cannot try it (the actual job) out"? …These kids are told about jobs in our school system, but they not exposed to those jobs, they not experience it personally, they just "dream" about certain occupations. Sometimes, or most of the times, those "dreams" are false, not up to reality. So they do college, graduate, and when they finally face reality, they got disappointed. Yes, education here in the West sucks!
my family encourage me to learn at school well and have job to
increase the capital for invest or start a business and my mom said you can't do anything if you do not have money what do you think ?
teachers have to be more positive. I had a teacher that told me (4th grade) "I past you last year but this year your not reading" her comment devastated my mind, and I FAILED that year got left back. In Junior High School (7th grade different school building) Mrs O'Donnel was a positive teacher and always smiling never condemning you, I was surprised I had a 75% grade score, years later I pondered on that, and I realized iam smart but one teacher called a loser and the other teacher said positive things. It all comes down to teachers they should leave their personal problems at home or quit one word can destroy a kid that has a huge potential. Wish Dan could've come to NYC high school no one would've bullied you because you look different, NYC has a lot of nationalities it's okay to look different.
People get mad when I told them school is sucks
